The HADRIAN project held its third consortium meeting on Oct 5th in hybrid form: several partners travelled to Graz, others joined virtually. This was the first opportunity for most partners to meet again in person since the start of the project and very much appreciated by all.

The main focus of the meeting were the currently ongoing driving simulator studies where partners are investigating the HADRIAN innovations to improve the driver role for automated driving. These innovations include increased predictability, tutoring, in-cabin lighting, HUD, turning of the seat, and fluid HMI features that adapt to the sensed state of the driver. Also, partners presented significant progress of the driver monitoring algorithms which were made available to the consortium.

The project is now in full-steam and results will become available soon. #DMS #humancentereddesign #automatedvehicles #HMI
