HADRIAN partner PLUS co-organised this event and presented their autonomous driving simulator. In HADRIAN PLUS is working on light-based interfaces for automated vehicles. People interested in self-driving cars and wondering what the future of mobility might look like, where invited to try out some of the interfaces on a simulation track at their station. The Human-Computer Interaction Research Team was happy to explain more about automated mobility and the interfaces of the (near and somewhat distant) future. The event was a great success , more than 500 people attended and there was a lot of interest in the simulator.
