A special thanks to the elderly drivers that decided to help the HADRIAN project in investigating and defining the driver role for future automated vehicles. They volunteered to participate as research subjects in HADRIAN’s user-centred approach evaluation studies at the Neuroergonomics and Operator Performance Laboratory (University of Granada, Spain). Limitations and constraints due to the COVID-19 crisis have affected participants enrollment, but the local COVID-19 vaccination strategy and vaccine deployment are helping to speed up the process. In these pictures, two (81 and 68 years old) of more than twenty senior drivers who have participated so far.
